How it works
Think of it as a babysitter for price levels from your newsletter.
- Your newsletter email arrives — or you forward it into a mailbox.
- GuruWatcher reads it and stores concrete prices, like “SMH buy $525–530”.
- You turn on Keep checking — by default it looks up live market prices about every 5 minutes (email about every 15 minutes; both editable).
- If a check sees a level was reached, it pings your Discord. Off = not looking = no alerts.

What you get
- Runs on your computer — open the app (Mac DMG / Windows zip — no Python to install) and a Control Panel opens in your browser. A tray icon keeps it running — no terminal typing. The source zip with a double-click launcher works too (needs Python).
- Reads your newsletter email — connect once (Gmail App password). Only new/unread mail in the folder you choose — not your whole history.
- Stores printed prices — arms concrete numbers from the text. If a letter names a 200-day MA without a level, it may resolve that MA from the market (not a random invented level).
- Looks up the market on a timer — while Keep checking is on (prices ~5 min by default; email ~15 min). Off = no lookups.
- Pings your Discord — when a check sees a level was reached. You paste a channel webhook once.

After you pay: Stripe returns you to a thank-you page with an immediate download — the macOS app (DMG, Apple Silicon), the Windows app (portable zip), or the source zip (up to 5 downloads for the Mac/Windows apps, 3 for the source zip, within 7 days of checkout). Open the app → connect Discord + email → Start Keep checking. Packaged apps need no Python install.

server uses the source zip + CLI, not the packaged app).

- Alerts are not trade instructions — you make the final call.
- It arms printed prices from your newsletter’s text. Soft lists with no numbers stay unarmed. If the letter names a 200-day MA without a number, it may resolve that MA from the market — it does not invent a random level.
- No concrete level (and no resolvable named MA) → no alert. Chart-only or vague lists trigger nothing.
